Oh no! I don't know anything about what happened but from reading here it sounds tragic. My heart goes out to all who witnessed this and to the family of the person. Was this at the Ventura end of Rincon? I was there earlier in the day and the messy waves had some size but not huge. I noticed a lot of surfers that I'd never seen before.

I'm so sorry for the loss of this man and wish condolences to his friends and family. I am so appreciative that some of our fellow water tribe were there to bring him in and try and render assistance. It's the code of the oceans, we have to be there for one another, thank you for upholding it.
