Props to SBPD — today I saw at least a dozen cops canvassing the block where the stabbing took place. I talked to two of them and they told me they were investigating, observing, and talking to residents. They asked me if I’d seen anything in the area today. They were not uniformed officers but many of them had police jackets, badges hanging around their necks, and some were wearing tactical utility vests. Nice to see the police actually policing.

Drugs, gangs, stabbings -no quiet neighborhoods left in this town. Carmelita is a sweet little street. Was a sweet little street. Future not looking healthy for this new pot capital county of California.
