Does anyone have more information about a broken water main at UCSB that's causing Goleta plumbing issues? The water in our Goleta office is turned off due to this issue apparently.

Murphy's Law: If your plumbing goes out, it must mean it's Saturday or Sunday.

Broken Water Main at UCSB?

From UCSB: A vehicle collided with a fire hydrant near Engineering II. As a result at least five main water lines have ruptured, leaving some buildings with low water pressure or no water. It is likely that these buildings will not have water for the remainder of the work day. Restrooms without water are being marked with signage and cannot be used until further notice. We are compiling a list of buildings with functional restrooms. We have many emergency contractors on campus working with us to remedy the issue as quickly as possible. We will continue to notify campus through D-List as we have additional information.

We heard something about a "water hammer" hitting the water main and the expectation for a lot of calls regarding flooding.

True, low water pressure at UCSB right now. Don't have any other info though.
