An elderly woman suffered minor burn injuries during a motorhome fire in Lompoc on Thursday afternoon.

At 1:17 p.m. Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to 2312 Sweeney Road to find a 24 foot motorhome and shed next to residence fully involved in fire, said Captain Dave Zaniboni.

Fire crews kept the fire from spreading to the residence, but the shed and motorhome are a complete loss. The elderly woman was transported to Lompoc Hospital for treatment, but it's unclear how she received the burns. A fire investigator is on scene to determine the cause of the incident.

Nomad is a brand of motorhomes and travel trailers you can make out the name Nomad of what is left of the rear. the front of the vehicle is not very clear in the photo so I would believe its a motorhome. Sad to hear it happened. hope she has a solid support system to help her recover.

That _is_ tragic...I hope her community gives her a lot of help recovering from that. Incidentally, it looks like a mobile home, the kind of fabricated home that is built on a trailer and towed to a place and parked for all intents and purposes, permanently. It does not look like a motorhome, an actual vehicle that can be driven away at will, on its own power.
