I am looking to store a restored 30" 1965-era Streamline Travel Home bus locally in Santa Barbara. Won't need to go in and out often but need an INTERIOR space to protect the bus from the elements. Was hoping to share with an existing tenant who might have a little extra room.

We found affordable indoor storage in Fontana, but ended up driving the rig cross country where it sits at this moment. We were unable to find affordable storage indoor or outdoor in the SB area. Larry Cavaletto had affordable outdoor storage at his old xmas tree farm off Patterson, but was shut down due to permitting issues. That was a bummer because his farm was used by lots of locals for RV's, boats, tree service equipment etc. One space was filled with huge beer brewery equipment!

24/7 moving specialist and vehicle storage out in Goleta might be able to help. That’s what they do. The website is twentyfour7msi.com

Indoor storage also helps with the problem of mice, which can be a big bummer. I am trying to figure out where to put an antique car I just bought. Those tents just won't cut it for me. & PSTARSR, this guy may be the exception.

The easiest thing to do is to store it in someplace like Palmdale or Lancaster. Since most of your trips are probably in that direction, all you'd do is take your driver car to the high desert, pop in your silver bus, and ten you're off to the races to enjoy your vacation or road trip. Otherwise, you are probably looking at somewhere in the $500-900 range to park that thing indoors.

covered storage is a premium in this area, so you may be searching for a long time. also since we get little to no rain, storing your trailer outside will not effect it as greatly as storing it in a wet area. I have restored many airstreams locally and almost all end up outside. no one has the extra dough for a hangar to store a trailer. shared or not.
