I'm always amazed at how much more the camera can "see" than I can with a 30 second exposure!

That's the constellation Perseus filling the upper right area. The two bright stars near the right edge are the eyes of Medusa's severed head that he's holding. The upper left star of the eyes is Algol, the Demon Star, which dims to half its normal brightness for a couple of hours about every three days, and was said to be Medusa winking. Algol comes from an Arabic phrase raʾs al-ghūl for head of the ghoul.

I should have added that Algol is actually a multiple star system, with a small bright star orbiting a larger dim star, and going behind it from our vantage.
