The shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill in November 2018 was a tragic event that has had lasting effects felt beyond the boundaries of Thousand Oaks and Ventura County. As with any major incident, it is important that we look not only at what occurred, but how we can better prepare and respond to similar situations in the future.

The sheriff’s office has prepared an after-action report detailing the sequence of events, lessons learned and areas that can be improved upon. As always, our thoughts are with the victims and the families of those who were there that night.

The report can be found via this link:  https://s29762.pcdn.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Borderline-AAR_FINAL.pdf

America is a sick sick gun worshipping country. I'm so sick of gun violence. I HATE guns. I would take it even further and ban them entirely, with insanely strict/harsh punishments for those caught with them. Some countries do not have gun violence like we do.

NOSTRA - stop protecting useless weapons. NO civilian needs high capacity magazines or any weapon capable of killing hundreds of people within minutes and seconds. No other civilized country has this problem.
