Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to a rollover traffic collision in Old Town Goleta on Thursday.

At 4:36 p.m., crews arrived in the 600 block of Pine Ave and found a Honda Accord landed on its roof after it struck a parked Ford F-250 truck.

Two men escaped with minor injuries as well as a small dog that was injured.

The Sheriff's Office is investigating this incident.

Where in the world does it say texting was involved? If you have information to that effect, please notify the authorities. Otherwise, it might be wise to keep your speculation to yourself. I personally speculate that the driver was surprised when an elk ran in front of the car, surprising the driver, but since I have no evidence to the contrary, I don't publicly accuse.

Was he distracted?--happening all the time--don't blame the dog--the Driver was probably texting or looking at his phone to hit another PARKED car--or maybe he was cut off--happening all time as well.
Can we all just focus on driving safely again? Too many rollovers too.

Not many rollovers occurred in this country until high-center-of-gravity SUVs and pickups became available, jus sayin. Maybe not in this instance, but we have no idea whether he was texting, either.
