It appears like the black car might have been traveling at high speed and sideswiped a bunch of the other cars that were waiting at the light signals. I was once in a car (backseat passenger) where the driver was exiting the freeway while checking his phone for message. We ended up hitting a guardrail and bouncing back into a ditch. We were all okay (there were three of us: the driver and two passengers), but very shaken up. Our friend who was driving was not cited, but he had to spend nearly $2,400 getting his car fixed! Yikes!

The driver was not cited because >>drum roll<< no one snitched and told the cops he was texting (or that he had just gone "bowling"). All the cops heard was that "a white SUV cut him off, and forced him into the guard rail." People lie to get out of tix....ask any cop.

So, you confirmed to you driver that's it's ok to text while high while driving, so he got away with what could have been a horrible, bloody crash, and the cops would buy his story. Let me guess - he's white, right?
