Need Housing ASAP

Mom with an exceptional 11 year old daughter, an older companion dog, a cat, a fish And a piano looking for our new home. Can pay $2000 utilities included.

I teach adaptive recreation and I also teach outdoor education. My daughter is a 6th grader.  she is creative and kind. We spend more time outside exploring, than inside. We both coach for special Olympics and volunteer elsewhere in the community.. My current landlord just sold the house we live in. So now my little family is looking for a new place to call home. I don’t drink.. I often have an extra kid or two on the weekends. I want my daughter and her friends to know they are ALWayS welcome and safe. plus I get to know her friends. I need a place where I could send my kid outside to play and look at bugs and birds and BE.. We would love a little space to call home hopefully Long term. I like to help in the yard or garden and don’t mind driving to the foothills . We really are good humans… good vibes. Love of love.  We just need somewhere to call home.. we have until March 17.. my budget is $2000 and I have a section 8 voucher.. my landlord Says it’s easy to sign up for and he gets rent every month and on time..  I don’t think most people understand what section 8 is so I will explain it as best I can from my personal use of this program.. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and am legally disabled.. I don’t work a regular job because my health can vary from day to day.  Therefore I am on a fixed income. Section 8 is a program through the housing authority where I pay a portion of my income and they help cover the rest.. between what they will help with and based on my income my budget for a place is $2000.  It is guaranteed rent every month.. any landlord can sign up for this program and I’d be happy to get you more information.
