Disney fans in California will soon have the chance to relive the ‘Camp Rock’ era as the company brings a traveling fan experience to several cities in the state this summer.

Disney’s “All Roads Lead to Camp” bus tour will be making three stops in California ahead of the release of ‘Camp Rock 3,’ Disney announced.

The month-long nationwide tour of the immersive pop-up fan experience kickstarted on July 3 in Nashville and will travel coast to coast to bring interactive experiences inspired by the popular Disney franchise.

California cities are among the final stops on the bus tour’s route, with events planned in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Anaheim, according to Disney.

The dates for the three California stops are:

  • Los Angeles: August 9
  • San Diego: August 11
  • Anaheim: August 14

The cross-country bus tour includes 17 cities before concluding at the D23: The Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim.

Scheduled to be held on August 14, 15, and 16 at the Honda Center, the Anaheim fan event will feature more than 50 panels, immersive experiences, and one of the largest show floors each day.

What Fans Can Expect

The bus tour celebrates the upcoming premiere of ‘Camp Rock 3,’ which is set to release on August 13 on the Disney Channel.

In collaboration with the American Camp Association (ACA), the bus will make stops at select ACA-accredited summer camps to bring the spirit of ‘Camp Rock’ to fans.

The camps will create a space where people will build memories, make new friends, gain new interests, and develop a sense of belonging, according to Disney.

The pop-up experience will feature a throwback “Disney Knees” photo opportunity moment, a ‘Camp Rock’ hat customization station, photo opportunities in and around the Camp Rock bus, special giveaways, and more surprises inspired by the film franchise.

As part of the initiative, Disney is partnering with ACA to offer scholarships aimed at helping underserved children attend the summer camps.

Disney has not yet announced the exact locations or event times for the Los Angeles and San Diego events. Additional details are expected to be shared through the company’s official channels closer to each event.

‘Camp Rock 3’ marks the return of Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas, and Maria Canals-Barrera to the film franchise, according to Disney.

The movie follows Connect 3 as the band returns to Camp Rock after losing its opening act for a big reunion tour. Campers compete for a chance to join the tour as the new opening act, while rivalries and friendships develop throughout the competition.
