The Channel Islands YMCA is thrilled to announce the appointment of Ryan Power as the new Executive Director of the Montecito Family YMCA. With over twenty-five years of experience in recreation management, Ryan is poised to bring a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the Montecito community.
Ryan’s impressive career includes key roles such as General Manager at La Costa Beach & Tennis Club and Operations Manager at the Pierpont Racquet Club. He has also held significant leadership positions with the City of Ventura, City of Malibu, and Conejo Recreation & Park District. His extensive expertise spans youth programs, aquatics, and group fitness, making him an ideal fit for the diverse needs of the Montecito Family YMCA.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Cal State Channel Islands, which will be instrumental in his successful oversight of the expansive afterschool programs in partnership with local school districts.
The Montecito Family YMCA is a vital supporter and partner of the Montecito Unified School District and Adelante Charter Schools. Under Ryan’s leadership, the YMCA looks forward to continuing its mission of fostering community and providing essential services and programs to the Montecito area.
Ryan resides in Ventura with his family, where he actively engages in outdoor activities and coastal pursuits, including participating in programs at the local YMCA.
