Primary care medical practice now accepting new patients

Jane Varner, MD, family medicine provider, has joined Cottage Primary Care – Santa Barbara where she will practice primary care medicine alongside Yana Gristan, MD, Arielle Kanner, DO and David Quincy, MD. The practice is located at 2329 Oak Park Lane in Santa Barbara.

Dr. Jane Varner is a family medicine physician with more than two decades of experience and will also serve as Medical Director for all of the Cottage Primary Care locations. Formerly with the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group, Dr. Varner has demonstrated a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She completed her medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and a residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University, where she served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Varner advocates for improving healthcare quality and safety. Most recently, she served as chair of the Sutter Health Bay Area Board Safety and Quality Committee. Her professional interests include women’s health and advancing health equity. In her personal life, she enjoys longboard surfing, gardening, and farmto-table cooking.

The physicians at this clinic focus on providing primary care to adults. Cottage Primary Care – Santa Barbara is located at 2329 Oak Park Lane in Santa Barbara. The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
