One night a year, top chefs team up to create the spectacular Reaching for Stars 5-course dinner to benefit local at-risk and homeless teens. This year, on Thursday, April 26th , 6:30 pm at the Santa Barbara Women’s Club, the program will be enhanced with premium wines from Brander, Alma Rosa, Babcock, Flying Goat Cellars, Buscador, and Lumen specifically paired to the culinary creations.
A panel discussion of local wine history and culture will feature Wine Enthusiast contributing editor and senior editor of the Independent Matt Kettman, Vintners Hall of Fame inductee Richard Sanford of Alma Rosa, winemaker Bryan Babcock, named as one of the "Top Ten Small Production Winemakers in the World”, and acclaimed winemaker Ernst Storm. The event is free to Inside Wine Santa Barbara members. IWSB is a Meetup group open to anyone 21+ years old. Essays by Kettman and about Sanford, Babcock, and Storm are included in the The Lark cookbook “Around the Table”.
