    Breast Cancer Resource Center has been supporting the needs of women facing a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment for 22 years - empowering sisterhood and offering encouragement so women can move from surviving to thriving. The BCRC will host its 12th annual THRIVE Fashion Show at the beautiful Hilton Beachfront Resort. Funds received from this event will help the BCRC continue to provide free educational resources and unique support services for women dealing with breast cancer.

Dr. Fred Kass, prominent Oncologist, will explain the different diagnostics and screening tests available such as Oncotype DX, IQ, Breast Cancer Index (BCI), and when they are applicable. Dr. Winifred Leung, Radiologist, will discuss best practices in breast imaging with an overview of imaging modalities and screening recommendations for women at high risk for developing breast cancer. Asura has always loved the arts, music and nature. She believes sound therapy can aid in sustaining and restoring physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Join us to listen and feel authentic sound through the vibrations of various instruments such as Tibetan/Crystal singing bowls, voice, bells and chimes.     Dr. Marisa Perdoma, PT, DPT, Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical therapy at USC, specializes in cancer rehabilitation, and participates in clinical research regarding clinical practice guidelines for cancer–related lymphedema. She is also a cancer survivor and offers a unique perspective on healing from cancer treatments. She will discuss updates on early diagnosis of breast cancer related lymphedema, new diagnostic guidelines and tools, and evidence based treatment options including surgical intervention.
