Santa will be visiting from 12:30 – 2:00 pm, and guests are invited to come and take their own holiday photos in front of the Granada’s majestic holiday tree, enjoy live musical performances from local youth choral groups and festive holiday refreshments, and support the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County.

    JLSB S.A.F.E. House Celebration & Holiday Party

    The League invites the Santa Barbara community to join in celebrating the holidays with merriment, joyus updates and opportunities to give. JLSB will honor the founding donors, who’ve given generously to support the opening of S.A.F.E. House (S​aving A​t-risk youth F​rom Exploitation House), a 6-bed, residential shelter in Santa Barbara County for girls who have been victims of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. The League looks to build upon this tremendous momentum with opportunities to give at the event. All funds raised at the holiday party will support S.A.F.E.

    This movie focuses on the remarkable life of South African revolutionary, president and world icon Nelson Mandela. Though he had humble beginnings as a herd boy in a rural village, Mandela became involved in the anti-apartheid movement and co-founded the African National Congress Youth League.

    Starring Gaspar Henaine, Capulina Chisme Caliente tells the story of Capulina, a telephone company employee, who eavesdrops on conversations. Due to his gossiping ways, he becomes an informant for a local journalist and gets involved with a newspaper. Unfortunately for him, several of the paper’s blackmailing rivals begin to look for the source of information. Capulina assists with handling the rivals and wins the love of the publisher’s beautiful daughter.
