    New Year’s Eve Pops Concert

    The Santa Barbara Symphony continues its beloved tradition of New Year’s Eve Pops, this year featuring the magic of the music from Motown, with Dancing in the Streets: The Music of Motown and More, A Symphonic Tribute to Motown on Monday, December 31st from 8:30 -10:30 pm, at the historic Granada Theatre.     Tree at the G

    The Granada Theatre invites the community to Tree at the G, a free holiday event on Thursday, December 6, from 5:00-7:00 pm. Come see the theater in all its holiday glory and kick off the season in style! Guests at Tree at the G will be transported to the Land of Sugarplum Fairies, with special appearances by characters from State Street Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker! Guests can also enjoy festive refreshments, as well as explore the theatre and its transformation into a winter wonderland!

    The Granada Theatre’s Volunteer Ambassadors Program

    The Granada Theatre is now accepting applications for its Volunteer Ambassador Program, and will be holding an orientation on Tuesday, September 19 at 6:30pm at the Granada Theatre (1214 State St.). Created in 2008 after the renovation of The Granada Theatre was complete, the program boasts over 125 volunteers who work as ambassadors for the theater with the community, and serve an important role in delivering the best possible guest experience for every performance.

    Santa Barbara Symphony kicks off 65th Anniversary season with Symphony Ball

    2018 marks the 65th Anniversary for the Santa Barbara Symphony and to celebrate this significant milestone, the organization will host The Symphony Ball on Friday, October 19 at the Hilton Beachfront Resort, from 5:30pm until midnight. The ball will take guests back to the golden era of “Supper Clubs”, with broadway star Lisa Vroman serving as the evening’s hostess, alongside members of the Santa Barbara Symphony and swing band Art Deco. Guests will enjoy cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner and dancing under the stars in the hotel’s Plaza del Sol.

    Night Under the Stars

    The Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club invites members, guests, and the general public to enjoy a “Night Under the Stars” at the Polo Clubhouse on Friday, August 24 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Guests will enjoy a fun, family-friendly evening of dinner, star gazing, live music, and dancing.
