Should beds for unvetted homeless be in your family neighborhood sandwiched between custom homes? This is a Public Meeting by the people of the Eastside for all Santa Barbara residents which will include a Q&A during which individuals will voice their own questions to the panel. The new CA mandate calls for every community to provide for its homeless. The Eastside District 1 provides 196 beds, the Westside District 3 provides 70 contacted beds. Districts 2,4,5,6 provided no sheltered beds for homeless.
