Return of the Butterflies: Community Memorial Altar at Paradise Found

Inspired by the celebrations of Samhain and Dias de los Muertos, the general public is invited to add names of deceased loved ones to the Community Altar using butterfly clips.

A universal symbol of transformation & hope, butterflies have long been associated with spirits of deceased loved ones in cultures across the globe. With this in mind, local artist Rebecca Zendejas approached Paradise Found the summer of 2020, with the idea to create a community memorial altar. The altar is now a beloved annual event.

The shop is open daily from 11am to 6pm.
