PFLAG started as a group of parents meeting together to find ways of understanding and supporting their LGBTQ children. Our monthly meetings are still the heart of what we do. If you are LGBTQ, or family, friend or ally you will find tremendous acceptance, understanding, information and support at a PFLAG meeting.

Please join us for our monthly chapter meeting, " Listening to our LGBTQ+ youth in 2018". We will hear from Pacific Pride Foundation's 2018-2019 Youth Advocate Leaders! They will talk about bullying, cyberbullying and share perspectives on the disconnect between what adults think LGBTQ+ youth experience and what they actually experience in daily life.

Please join us for a special coming out story across generations. Our panel will be a cross generational gathering of Grandparent, Grandson and Spouse. What is sometimes overlooked is that the whole family goes through a coming out process. It is helpful to hear both sides. There will be time for sharing and support.

Special guest speaker, comedian Elizabeth Collins will share her story through excerpts from her show "Raised by Gays and Turned Out OK". She will share her work with COLAGE and the families of LGBT families. We meet at First United Methodist Church, 305 E. Anapamu, Santa Barbara. All are welcome.
