Iliza is one of today’s leading comedians with a fan base who show their loyalty by creating their own Iliza inspired swag to wear to her shows. Last year she hosted her late night limited-run talk show “Truth & Iliza,” on Freeform. In November 2017, she released her first book Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity (Hachette Book Group) a subversively funny collection of essays and observations on a confident woman’s approach to friendship, singlehood, and relationships.

Hailed as “the most innovative and influential guitarist of the past 25 years” (Wall Street Journal), Bill Frisell has seen collaborations with the likes of Elvis Costello, Bono, Paul Simon, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic over the course of his 35-year career. His Grammy-nominated album When You Wish Upon a Star features his arrangements and interpretations of music for film and television. The album is more than an homage to a set of iconic scores; Frisell draws upon the sentimentality of music heard on screen and how it shapes and informs our emotional relationships to what we see.
An evening with JD Souther
Grammy-nominated JD Souther has penned countless hits for the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Roy Orbison, James Taylor, Don Henley, George Strait, Trisha Yearwood, Brooks and Dunn and found success as a solo artist. This led him to being inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2013 and becoming one of the most celebrated songwriters of his generation. On his latest studio album, Tenderness (Sony Music Masterworks), Souther creates a perfect balance of understated Jazz with the ineffable pop narratives that have been the backbone of much of his greatest work.

SANTA BARBARA MASTER CHORALE PRESENTS Santa Barbara Sings! A gift to the Santa Barbara Community
Steven Hodson Artistic Director & Conductor, presents SANTA BARBARA SINGS! — A Free Christmas Concert. The performance features Navidad Nuestra, a folk drama of the nativity, based on the rhythms and traditions of Hispanic America, by well-known composer Ariel Ramirez. The American Riviera Children’s Chorus and a high school chorus will also sing Christmas music from several traditions. Guest artists include guitarist Anthony Ybarra and contralto Carol Ann Manzi. The program finale is an audience sing-along of favorite Christmas carols.

He has the distinction of being the only cellist in the world to have studied with both Mstislav Rostropovich and Gregor Piatigorsky and to carry on the deep musical legacy of these two great 20th Century Russian masters of the cello. His romantic emotion and absolute musical commitment carry the command of a true artist.

Named “Instrumentalist of the Year” for 2018 by Musical America, Augustin Hadelich has firmly established himself as one of the world’s great violinists – and one of classical music’s most inspiring performers. His many honors also include a 2016 Grammy® and the inaugural 2015 Warner Prize. He returns to CAMA for the 4th consecutive year following his riveting performance of the Britten Violin Concerto with the St. Louis Symphony at The Granada Theatre last season and will once again be playing the “Kiesewetter” Stradivarius violin.
