    PULSE ART CLUB

    Your Host: Brendan Briggs of JBR Visuals, will introduce special guests, through the virtual platform Zoom to make the event available world wide!

    Participants will listen to the artist playlist, respond to the works, by creating their own visual art piece. You'll then have a chance to talk about what moved you through your piece with our special guest.

    All you need, is to bring your sketch pad, blank canvas, painting implements or any medium that gets you to pulse through the imagery provided in this art club.

    No experience is required.

    I’m an artist who works in multiple mediums: sketch, paint, spray, a little bit of wall sculpting. Like you, I’m a busy artist and at times I hardly have a moment to kiss my Husband. (Poor Boo)

    I’m currently involved with 3 Artist’s Association’s in my community. We recently discussed the 3 platforms listed above. There was much confusion about the specifics, offerings, and costs of each program and what they do... mind boggling!

    Pop Portraiture

    Bring gesso, PPE, spray paints, stencils, acrylic paint or acrylic paint pens and we'll get after it! Let's create a fun Street Pop piece!

    Decide on a favorite face you'd like to paint. Along with a step by step demonstration, Brendan Briggs will accompany and guide you through your painting. We'll open up for participation, comments and questions during your process.

    Materials List attached and Artists will receive a materials list upon registration. A copy of the video will be made available for download upon class completion.

    Mix It Up!

    Layers and layers of visual intensity using acrylic paints, stencils, collage bits and any mediums in your kit will yield a fabulous piece of Wall Hang!

    The first 20 minutes we’ll tear magazine clips, book ages and collage papers. Deciding on a favorite photo copied picture, or painted focus, we’ll combine words and other beautiful mediums to balance.

    A step by step demonstration accompanying student participation, will lead us to an intuitive product. Materials list is attached. A copy of the video will be made for downloading upon class completion.

The works are specially priced for the holiday season. Glenn Dallas Gallery is also featuring a SPECIAL GUEST DJ - BILL EAGAN.

    I mean it’s Kwanza, Hanukkah, Christmas, Boxing Day etc. That said, come with me; let’s create beautiful boxes to give away as a holiday gift, a keepsake box for your bride, a cigar or cigarette holder or just to keep your own precious jewels in.
    Here’s what you’ll need to bring:
    PRETTY IMAGED NAPKINS: Floral, Impressions, etc.,
    ACRYLIC PAINTS: Black, White, Burnt Umber or Dark Brown and 3 contrasting colours (or just your favorite colours)
