Today there is no shortage of worldly problems and distractions. In this weekend course Dawa will teach the essential fundamentals of how to develop your meditation practice. Learn the building blocks of a successful meditation practice and discover innate wakefulness and joyful mind.

Dec 10 (Thursday, 7-9pm): Dawa Teaches Renunciation
Renunciation is an integral part of the spiritual journey, but is easily confused with resistance or deprivation. What is the function of renunciation on the Path of Awakening toward the end of suffering? How can it be synonymous with freedom, joy and contentment? Learn the true meaning of renunciation as we explore the right relationship to the sensory abundance that accompanies life and our holiday season.
Dec 3 (Thursday 7-9pm): Discussion of the Five Aggregates
Join your sangha in discussion of Dawa’s recent weekend course. Through community interactions our individual understandings percolate through the group. The power of the group combines each individual droplet of understanding into a powerful river of insight that first refines our concepts and eventually cuts through the hard rock of our confusion, uniting our experience with the vast ocean of wisdom.
