I do not understand this trend toward "comedy" traffic school. It's not a laughing matter. This is serious stuff. I say drive the point home with the film Red Asphalt.

Do traffic school on the Internet. Faster.

The traffic school on the Westside, I think it's on W. Micheltorena is boring, boring, boring. You'll wish you did the Internet version 20 minutes after enrolling in this class. Trust me.

My husband did www.hometrafficschool.com a couple of years ago. Much better than the boring all-day class I did at a bowling alley in 1980.

Online traffic school is actually kinda fun. Lotsa choices -- do at your convenience. There was an earlier post about this. Click on the Referrals tab on this page, then search for "traffic" and you'll find the last discussion.

There are many internet classes that do not require proctors. I did this one Saturday for a speeding ticket, it wasn't too bad cause I knew most the answers already.

You class C drivers are lucky! Even if i get a ticket in my car i can't go to traffic school. If you have a Class A license, you have to pay for the ticket and take the points on your record. NO golden parachute for us slow moving truck drivers.

Is "traffic school" required for cyclist? Of Course Not but just imagine if we had a law that said it was. However Many Days after the ticket was issued you mail in the completed school form or are penalized, how, I leave that to the public. Perhaps w/ a law like this we can get these people who run reds, ride the walkways, crash and run, cut and swerve in line w/ the road rules like they do in Europe where biking is a privilege and licensed. There's money too in "them thar hills" to require cyclist to register there bikes and pay an annual fee of say $20 (or more) to ride our city streets, adhere to the traffic laws, help fund bike lanes and streets.

WHAT SAY YA'ALL?

register your bikes! That would be a funny mess. That means insurance and drivers license would also be required...Wow we would need triple the about of police we have know to try and stop all these terrible people riding there bikes.
