City College Stadium Steps

Yesterday I ran some steps at the SB City College stadium and would like
to do it regularly (great facility, fantastic view from the top while I'm trying to
breathe again). Does anyone know what hours the gates are open both
weekdays and weekends?

319413 - At first I was going to post something similar to what you said, but that doesn't answer the question about weekend hours, which I believe are different, and don't seem to be easily available by cursory Googling. So chill.

I've never actually seen the gates closed unless there was a football game or track meet...

The stadium is open daily 7:00am-9:30pm. The track is only closed if there is a game or practice. Right now Track and Cross Country practice M, W 2-5pm and Tuesdays 6-8am, but usually just use the track itself. The stairs are almost always accessible. Unless there's a big game.

Weekdays opens at least by 6 a.m. Maybe earlier.

If you think you are going to go alot, it's cheaper to buy a parking pass frOm Sbcc for around 24 bucks! Its usually 3 a day so do you own math!!

OP here. Thank you all for the info - this is why I came to Edhat first. I could have indeed Googled it, and probably should have (as I usually do), but I also had a feeling that there would be some inside info, like when there are games, or classes, or something like that. As for parking, I love that there is free parking across the street at the harbor, and I can warm up by walking/jogging across the street (mostly empty in the early a.m.). Can't imagine exercising more than 90 minutes! As I was leaving, there were many cars circling the SBCC lot looking for parking -I don't want to take slots from the students who are there for longer.

College needs money. What would you be willing to pay to use the stadium steps and track for your own work-outs?
