Backward Running

Just passed this guy at the bird refuge and then again on shoreline! He is running backwards from LA to SF!! He was in amazing shape and smiling and waving at cars.. Pretty cool. He has a whole crew and a big van. Still out there if anyone wants to try and find him. I imagine hell have to run hollister? And out thru goleta right? How the heck can u get to SF without freeways?
