Metal Detector
updated: Sep 06, 2012, 9:53 PM
I have lost something of sentimental value in a relatively small, but
densely wooded area. Is there somewhere in town where you can loan or
borrow a metal detector Or possibly a local metal detectors club? Any
advice would be much appreciated.

Why not rent one and support a local business?

You might put the question to the local Elk's Club. A lot of Elks are retired and may have that as a hobby. They also do philanthropic work, and you could offer a donation for a cause they are focusing on. Good luck! I hope you find your treasure.

There's a guy on Craigslist that always posts in the lost and found that he will help you find things with a metal detector... for a fee.
