Bat Attack
updated: Sep 01, 2012, 11:37 AM

By Edhat Subscriber

This small bat, a 'California Myotis,' begins to stir under our garage eaves at dusk before heading out for a buffet feast of flying insects. The little creature will eat on the fly or capture numerous insects within the folds of its wings and then alight somewhere to dine. Be cautious around these beneficial insect eaters - they often carry rabies.
