Generator Theft

Flyer posted at the pay booth at entrance to Refugio Beach State Park: The flyer says: "WARNING! Risk of Theft! Secure your generators to your vehicle overnight. Generators that have been secured to vehicles with chains and cable locks have recently been cut and stolen."

The thieves go for the new, quiet, generators like Honda 2000 and Honda 3000, $1500 and over $1700. MANY have been stolen over the last year, and have recently been stolen.
