Garden Pics

This summer we have the best vegetable garden we've had in years. Plants are loving the heat and growing
fast. Thirsty.
Most plants seem to be comletely pest free. The leaves have almost no sign of insect holes, and crops have
excellent. Predator insects are keeping the place pristine. We have a very unkempt area nearby, with lots of
weeds and creek natives. Hunter insects seem to live there and come to the garden in the evenings for
dinner and water. Sometimes the place is buzzing with wasps and hoverflies.
The very small yellow one that looks like a wasp is probably a hoverfly. The one that looks like a dressed-
up grasshopper is tiny. It landed on my jeans while I had the camera in my lap (note the blue and white
denim for scale).
