015: There is a Panera just up the street from there. Of the choices given, I'd say Del Taco or DQ. But then again, neither, really, since we have a number of fast food "mexican" places & a bunch of ice cream places not far away. I say whatever goes there, goes there. If people want Chick Fil A, it'll go in. I just plan on not patronizing it. I had never heard of Fresh Choice, had to google it. Looks interesting. I'll vote for that, too.

Burger King sucks. Fries, onion rings, sandwiches...all tasteless and nasty. Good riddance.

Olive Garden sucks. Applebees would be OK. Love Soup Plantation. But this space is too small anyway so the point is moot.

Yes to Del Taco. Not that their food is a whole lot better than Taco Bell. Never understood why they serve fries.

Arby's would be wonderful. Their roast beef is disgusting to look at but strangely tasty.

Soft serve rocks. I miss Foster's Freeze. McDonald's soft serve suffices, but a DQ would be welcomed with open arms.

Der Wienerschnitzel would be a nice change of pace from the local fast food scene.

Never been to a Roscoe's or Five Guys. Chicken and waffles sound gross, but you can never have enough good burger joints around.

Alas, it's Chick-fil-A. What a waste of a drive-thru. I'll never give money to a homophobic, religious stooge.

309238 - Why does no one like In-n-Out? Well, a lot of people DO like it, but not me. Their burgers are average at best. They have the WORST french fries of ANY restaurant in Santa Barbara...always undercooked and soggy...too thin. Drive-thru lines WAY too long, especially for substandard food (reminds me a lot of Super Rica). And don't even bother going inside if the drive-thru line is long. You will wait three times as long inside.

Which is why I wish Chick-fil-A tanks and is replaced by a decent burger joint.

A medical marijuana dispensary with edibles. We could have avoided the entire debate re Chick-a-Fil-A, since medical marijuana patients as a group (at least 10X the number of people supporting gay marriage) can be subjected to any hate crime - daily multiple instances of defamation at cc meetings, geographic and economic discrimination, lies about current law, corruption of a grand jury investigation by collaboration between council members and city staff to bias voting in a general election, arrests for substances declared legal by AG opinions, discriminatory bail, etc.An ABR member could probably abstain from a vote approving a store-front collective on the basis that amotivational pothead clients constitute a visible blight on a neigborhood with no objection from city hall. A couple of years of illegal lobbying violating federal law and CA FPA? - no problemo!
