Baby Raccoon

Just when we thought baby season was coming to an end, we landed this 10-11 day old baby orphaned
Raccoon. He was found in Cambria, stabilized by the wonderful volunteers at Pacific Wildlife Care Network,
then brought to our facility to join another orphaned baby raccoon in our care. This photo was taken
during his feeding time, in-between syringes. A human small finger is sometimes used to keep the
suckling momentum while loading another syringe with specialized fox valley raccoon replacement
formula.
Not too many people have an opportunity to see a baby raccoon this young, and small. ART, Inc. wanted to
share his cuteness with Edhat readers that do enjoy our many wildlife/animal rescue postings. Notice the
fluff he is sporting on his head, a Don King look alike...
