Scanner Rports 8-15-12

By Roger the Scanner Guy
It's Wednesday August da 15th 2012, Happy Humpster Day. Nationally, the first week of August we
had 8 children die of heat strokes locked inside of vehicles. One woman actually drove home left the kids in the car went into her home napped for 3 hours.
When she woke up and went outside to the vehicle both her children a 3 year old and a 2 year old were dead. What the HELL are people thinking? I don't
know why this woman left her children in the vehicle but maybe it was so she would be able to sleep without being bothered. Those poor children. I haven't
heard many children left in vehicle calls lately locally. I do however hear of dogs left in vehicles. What a horrible way to treat your best friend, someone who
loves unconditionally. If you don't want your dog or cat enough not to abandon them in your vehicle on a hot day find another home for them. If you don't
want your kid give them up for adoption I'm sure if given the choice animals and children would much rather be with someone who loves them, not with
someone who wants to torture them.
Been hearing some Gang Activity lately. On Sunday Evening as I was drifting off to Happy Sleepy Land I heard a Gang Type Fight
in the 1000 Block of East Haley. It involved 5 subjects at least and sounded as if no weapons were involved but what do I know I wasn't there. I continued to
hear about it into the night I would have posted it but there was a line of "Code Reds" with no injuries involving weapons or death I thought I'd say
something about it later, which I did. Last week I heard some Gang type activity including one attack where a man was beaten with a skateboard sounded
like he got it pretty bad too. In just about all cases of Gang activity in Santa Barbara the victims are usually uncooperative with the police, in those cases
there is not a lot the police can do. I think it's good the police having their briefings at the Franklin Center but what is going to happen when they stop
having their briefings there?
I was checking out MegansLawCa.Gov the other Evening like to do that once in a while noticed there are two Sex Offenders
according to the Website living at the Cacique Street Shelter at this time Interesting enough two former clients of the Cacique Street Shelter that are Sex
Offenders are in Violation of their registration as Sex Offenders even so they are considered to be "Cured" allowed to live amongst the rest of us, at least till
they get picked up.
I just heard a call from Santa Maria, Waller Park Naked man in an orange van near the Play Area. On Monday Evening a man in a
White van parked in Peabody School's parking lot flashed his lights at a woman as she walked by. I have heard a couple calls involving men taking pictures of
children one at Los Banos Pool. A man was detained by a Ranger at Lake Cachuma taking pictures of women in the showers there. Watches out the Creeps
are out There.
