Marjorie Mae Anderson Obituary

Marjorie Mae Anderson died peacefully on July 28, 2012. She was called to heaven just 3 days before her
81st birthday. Margie's family was by her side throughout her long battle with Alzheimer's. Born in
Minnesota on July 31, 1931, Margie was 1 of 4 children. She moved to California more than 54 years ago
with her devoted husband of 64 years Robert Anderson. Margie loved traveling and spending time with
family and friends. She is survived by her husband, five children: Jerry Anderson, Joy McAndress both in
Santa Barbara, Judy Montgomery, Tom Anderson both in Las Vegas, and Mike Anderson in Medford, 11
grandchildren, soon to be 7 great grandchildren, 1 sister and many close friends. Those touched by
Margie are many as she warmly embraced everyone who came into her life. Her kind, sweet and gentle
spirit is how she will be remembered by all who knew her. Little Margie will truly be missed. The family
would like to thank Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care and Sarah House who gave expert loving care to
Margie. Memorial services are at 10:00am on Saturday August 18, 2012 at Welch Ryce Haider Funeral
Chapel, 450 Ward Drive, Santa Barbara.
