I am wondering if anyone has details about the police and K-9 units on Ellwood Beach Drive yesterday (Monday 8/13) around noon or so. I heard that there were around 8 police cars, and it may have been drug-related. Anybody know what was up with that?

Don't recall hearing anything on the scanner around that time or area..Sounds like they wanted to surprise the criminals.
