Hi, I'm looking for recommendations from anyone having dealt with attorneys
regarding Medical/Medicaid issues. My parents want to plan for when they might
need help from Medical/Medicaid with regards to their assets/home and would like
to sit with attorneys with specific expertise in this field. Please share your
experience and recommendations in this matter.

The person who has the most expertise in this subject matter is Jan Tallett, who is an attorney with Gilfix and LaPoll in Palo Alto (http://www.gilfix.com/attorneys/janet.html) Jan used to be a paralegal with John Ambrecht. She knows more about Medi-Cal applications than anyone I know and she can handle things from her office in Palo Alto.
