Sheriffs' helicopter searching for something/someone in area between San Marcos High & El Camino School..Any news?

Lots of homeless encampments in there - and lots of graffiti as well.

Probably has something to do with the stabbing there last night. See the post by Roger (I think) late last night or early this morning. I've been hearing it too. It took off from the hill over here near the jail around 11:30 or so this morning.

Aerial photos of the scene last night (during daylight hours) to add to the investigation. There's much one can learn from seeing different perspectives, googlemaps can't give you everything.

I believe that they then flew off to the mountains to continue with the marijuana eradication effort happening on top of the mountains near the glass factory. Thats where I saw the sheriffs helicopter fly as seen from my office after it circled the san marcos area. There was another helicopter that I could see flying up there as well, it seemed to have red and yellow markings. Busy day out there it sounds, can you confirm Roger?

I usually don't discuess police stakeouts unless they are done busting them..That goes for drugs, gangs whatever else I think might be a danger to the cops.. So the only thing I can confirm is that I'm sitting in my chair listening to the scanner and I got gas.. :)
