Lakey Peterson Wins

Santa Barbara's Lakey Peterson just won the Women's Pro title in front of 175,000 frothing fans at the Nike US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach. Her win came against 2011 women's world champion Carissa Moore of Hawaii. We're super proud of our local charger and hope this propels her towards bringing home a world championship in 2013! Attached pictures of her enjoying the traditional champions chair up the beach to the podium and throwing a huge backside hack during her perfect 10 point ride earlier in the contest.
