Baseball Season

With their 4-2 win over the Casa Grande (AZ) Cotton Kings, the Santa Barbara Foresters are 2-0 in the 78th NBC World Series in Wichita. Last night's game was the kickoff of the NBC's "Baseball Around the Clock" and the 'Sters game didn't start until 11:40 pm Wichita time. The temperature had cooled off to 87F by the time the game ended at 2am. Today's high is expected to be around 112 with the usual high humidity.
