Here’s the deal Edhatters. I like you. I think you’re fun and quirky in the most endearing way possible. And I like Santa Barbara. There is a ton to do with
a breathtaking backdrop taken right out of a cheesy romantic comedy starring Kate Hudson. I think we’ve got a good thing going here and I hope to take this
relationship to the next level.
After a few chats with Ed, he’s decided to let me give this column writing thing a whirl. I’ll be covering local events, parades, happenings, festivals, the
new, the old, anything that looks fun and exciting you can bet I’ll be there. If it’s odd and whacky, the better! The mini donkey farm is having a grand re-
opening? Count me in. A local winery is hosting a grape stomping event? I’m probably already there. Whatever it may be, I’ll try my darndest to get there and
represent Edhat in the best way I know how, with a sweet Edhat Dog t-shirt and a camera.
So here’s the plan. I’ll cover local events twice a month and write a little somethin-somethin about what I experienced. Hopefully it will be captivating
and hilarious, if not then at least a few more minutes of procrastination from those expense reports is all I can offer.
Viva la Fiesta Edhatters. I hope to see you amidst the chaos with margaritas in hand.
