Fiesta Parade

The fiesta parade has been taking forever to start. I thought it was supposed to start at 12. What is up?

El Desfile Histórico was delayed about 20 minutes due to a car parked too close to the train tracks on
Anacapa Street.

I saw on KEYT (looking for someone streaming the parade...but that's another story) that it was delayed to to an incorrectly parked car that forced a train to have to switch tracks. I'm watching the parade now, from Pennsylvania, courtesy of someone on Ustream, but it's not as good as being there :-)

It started a little late but was a fun parade, as usual. Thanks to all the volunteers who make it possible and the visiting equestrians who make it such a classic spectacle.

RE tar feet I used be a oil person for the tar removal, but for me Dawn dish soap works better. Any other good suggestions?
