Fiesta Parking Enforcement

To accommodate the needs of the spectators at the Fiesta Historical Parade, the
Santa Barbara Police Department will suspend enforcement of 75 and 90 minute
curb parking (non-colored time zones) on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 9:00 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. in the areas bounded by the following streets (including the
perimeter streets). This does not apply to City parking lots.
Above the freeway: Valerio Street on the north, Bath Street on the west, and
Laguna Street on the east.
Below the freeway: Cabrillo Boulevard on the south, Castillo Street on the west,
and Garden Street on the east.
All other parking regulations will be enforced including:
GREEN zone - 15 minutes only
RED zone - no parking
YELLOW zone - commercial vehicles only for 30 minutes only
BLUE zone - handicap only
WHITE zone - passenger loading and unloading only for 3 minutes only
TAXI zone - Taxis only
GRIDLOCK - blocking or stopping in intersection after light turns red prohibited
RV's - no RV parking in posted areas
STREET STORAGE - no abandoned vehicles or vehicles parked over 72 hours
