Gaviota or Pass?

Question: Traveling north today. How is the 101 northbound at Gaviota on a Sunday? Still slow? Should I take the Pass? Anyone have advice?

Drove up to Buellton Wed, light traffic and minor slowing thru Gaviota--came back the pass with usual slowing/truck on downgrade into SB---go for it!

Avoid the usual rush hour times so traffic densities aren't a factor.

We went through there yesterday and it was smooth sailing. Much safer than taking the Pass on a weekend when all the drunks are out.

The construction work is complete. No impediment to smooth travel now except for texting/cell-phone using distracted drivers - or those DUI.
