Driver on the wrong side of the freeway heading Southbound on 101 N around 2:20 am. Moving over
65 miles per hour into oncoming traffic. Narrowly missed our car but we swerved out of the way. I don't
think we made the first call to 911, did anyone hear anything?

This is unrelated but I was wondering if anyone knows why Cathedral Oaks in north Goleta is blocked off by the police.

Simple facts here folks - it was a horrific accident - no one has died but both drivers were badly injured and both drivers were dueced - and ticketed accordingly. You could not ask for a more graphic example of what happens when you drink and drive. Guess we can consider ourselves lucky that more damage wasn't done....this time.

Please, no more wrong-way highway drivers. We seemed to have quit having them for a while. Bleah.
