Isla Vista Stabbing

i received a reverse 911 text from the UCSB emergency services last night at 2:58AM stating that 3 victims were stabbed in Isla vista. Does anyone else have more details?

Four people were stabbed early Saturday morning in Isla Vista, and Santa Barbara County sheriff's deputies are searching for multiple suspects. (07/29/12)

I heard that there was a party and some guys were asked to leave and they didn't want to leave. They stabbed one security person and 3 others were stabbed. The security person might have been privately hired by the host of the party.

One of the victims was my good friend and he was stabbed in the temple and the back of the neck from behind. he could easily have died had the knife entered at a different angle.

@717P he and the 3 other men were stabbed as they were leaving a party that the owners ended around 2 am. they had their back turned to the house as they were walking down the driveway when an unknown number of Hispanic males (he estimates 3-6) rushed them from behind. he explained what felt like a hard punch to the side of his head and neck that made him stumble to the ground where he looked behind him and saw one friend grabbing his stomach and his white tee began spreading blood as the attackers had moved onto two other men already in the street before running off in both directions down Trigo. It all happened so fast he couldn't come up with a description other than a group of adult male Hispanics.

Every weekend there are fights in IV I hear them up until I go to bed if people want to fight so bad they should join the Marines and GROW UP!

It's just not safe throwing a party anymore. You just never know what breed of animal is going to arrive uninvited and get pissed off when the party is called off for getting late or out of hand. Used to be kids couldn't trust adults but now it's kids not trusting other kids. Yeah, I know the perps were described as "adults" but to me a 20 year old is not yet a fully baked adult... regardless of how baked they may claim to be.

I am upset that the injuries are described as non-life threatening because the guy that was stabbed in the temple and back of neck is my brother. It did completely sever an artery in his temple. Thank god, he got help because he would have bled to death. He was not involved in a fight. He didn't know the people that attacked him, and couldn't identify them because he was stabbed from behind. He does describe it as feeling like he had been punched hard from behind and then was covered in blood. It all happened so fast, and when he looked at the security in front of him he saw blood all over him and thought his blood was getting all over the security, then realized the security was stabbed too! It was severe, he's extremely fortunate to be alive. Yes, a group of people were asked to leave the party because they were too rowdy and they started a fight outside.
