Panic Calls

Dear Edda,
My boyfriend and I have been going out for a year. We are both 18 and go to different colleges. We usually speak every day.
Lately, if I don’t call him by a certain time, he starts to panic and calls all of my friends, and even my parents. Then my parents get worried, and by the time
I am back in touch, everyone is angry with me. I’ve tried to talk to him, but he says he can’t help it and just worries. I think that’s sort of sweet. Is this
normal? Should I break up with him?

I think it’s odd that everyone gets angry with you, when they should probably be annoyed with your boyfriend.
