July 27, 2012 - Mussel Bed

There is so much beauty to be seen on the Channel Islands. Edhatter Nick Schooler shared some photos of what Santa Cruz island has to offer. The picture of the day captures a mussel bed on Fraser Point while a little sea star gives the photographer a wave.

In local news: A panga boat filled with people and narcotics was found off the Gaviota coast, Highway 192 is temporarily closed due to a large sink hole, and the Urban Hikers spoke with the illusive Google Maps Guy. Read these stories and more below:
