Scanner Reports 7-27-12
updated: Jul 27, 2012, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Well it's finally FRYday Yowsa Wowsa! I get two days where I'm not actually writing the Scanner Reports, I yam however listening to the Scanner and writing calls down. Slowly scumming up on my 3 Year anniversary with Edhat sometime in August. I still LOVE doing it most of the time. Very seldom do I get frustrated enough to want to be in the Scanner Reports.

I wasn't going to read the article in the Independent about the "Death Warrant Suspect Arrested." Because I read enough but what the HELL I read it anyway. I got to the part where Police Spokesman Riley Harwood stated that he could not say with any certainty that the Death Warrant suspect was involved in the Santa Barbara stabbings, WOW That threw me for a loop! Because I figured the local police were just going to assume that Courtney Robinson did the Santa Barbara stabbings and close the case. I heard of the Santa Barbara stabbings thru the Homeless community about 3 weeks before Courtney became a person of interest in the LA Stabbings. I hear a lot of stuff from the streets and the neighborHOOD. I don't write up everything I hear because I don't know if it's true or not I have to confirm things I hear. Some of the things I heard involving the Santa Barbara stabbings were a little different from the guy who got arrested M.O. Reading Officers Harwood's statement made me feel proud that we still have police officers in Santa Barbara that thoroughly do their job. I know I might get a little SMACK for saying that but too often I hear and read different.

If you have your stuff stored in a storage building check on it once in a while I have been hearing of storage lockers getting busted into lately. It would not really take much for someone to clip the lock with a pair of bolt cutters. I'm not sure that is how it's being done that is the way I would do it, keep it simple.
