People v. Lee Leeds
updated: Jul 19, 2012, 12:21 PM

Source: Santa Barbara District Attorney

District Attorney Joyce E. Dudley announced today that mass murderer Lee Leeds was sentenced to a term of 100 years to life. That term will then be followed by a term of life without the possibility of parole on each of the four counts of first degree murder. District Attorney Joyce E. Dudley stated, "No sentence could ever ameliorate the horrendous, senseless death of these four innocent victims. I hope this extraordinary sentence can however be the beginning of a healing process for all those who have suffered and continue to suffer as a result of this tragic crime."

Lee Leeds, the man accused of murdering his father along with three others in Santa Maria back in 2008, is scheduled to be sentenced today in Santa Barbara Superior Court. (07/20/12)
