Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp

So here's the deal.....I've been watching some incredible magic happen this week at the annual Junior
Wheelchair Sports Camp at UCSB. 40 wheelchair-bound kids ages 6 to 18 get the opportunity to try a
barrage of challenges, typically laughing through them all. They rock climb, kayak, scuba dive, play rugby,
tennis, racquetball and basketball. They swim, play volleyball, do an obstacle course, use hand-cycles,
practice some yoga, do a ropes course and even spend some time in a drum circle.
It's one of the most inspiring weeks of the year for me; makes me appreciate life in a whole new way.
Stop by the UCSB Rec Center through this Friday and see if it doesn't change your life too.
